As a designer, Paul will assist you in deciding the overall concept for your garden, which can then be realized through appropriate design drawings and planting plans. You will have ideas, likes and dislikes and it is important that all these are carefully considered in the early stages of the design process to form the initial brief.
A well designed garden fulfils many important functions and you will need to consider these with all those that have an interest or use the space.
Draw up a list and collect pictures from magazines and other images to help illustrate and clarify your thoughts. This brief will form the basis from which the design will develop and is a collaboration of your needs, preferences, practical considerations and the designer's practical knowledge and creativity.
